SMS Terms & Consent

DynaTax AI provides an SMS communication channel that lets licensed tax professionals (CPAs, EAs, Tax Attorneys, and their firms) communicate with their own clients about tax and accounting work. This page describes who sends those messages, the kinds of messages sent, how you opt in, and how you opt out.
1. Program Overview
DynaTax AI Inc. (“DynaTax AI,” “we,” “us”) operates a messaging platform that allows tax-professional firms (“Firms”) to send SMS text messages to their clients (“Recipients”). All messages are sent on behalf of the specific Firm a Recipient has engaged for tax or accounting services. DynaTax AI does not send marketing or promotional SMS to consumers.
2. Types of Messages You May Receive
If you opt in, you may receive SMS messages from your Firm in the following categories:
- Account & transaction notifications — deadline reminders, document requests, payment confirmations, e-signature notifications, and engagement status updates related to your tax or accounting work.
- Customer-care conversations — two-way replies from your Firm about your tax/accounting matters, such as questions about transactions, documents, or your return.
Sample messages: “Hi [Name], this is [Firm]. Your Q3 estimated tax payment is due Sept 15. Reply STOP to opt out.” · “Hi [Name], we’ve uploaded your 2025 return for review — please log in to sign. Reply STOP to opt out.”
3. How You Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from a Firm through any of the following:
- Checking the “I agree to receive SMS messages from my tax professional” box during account registration or invitation acceptance on DynaTax AI.
- Signing your Firm’s engagement letter, which includes a clause authorizing SMS communications about your tax/accounting work.
- Enabling SMS notifications in your DynaTax AI account preferences after sign-in.
Your consent is specific to the Firm(s) you have engaged with on DynaTax AI. You are not enrolling in any marketing program by opting in to SMS.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your tax/accounting workflow with your Firm. Typical Recipients receive between 1 and 20 messages per month, with higher frequency during tax-filing season (January–April).
5. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. DynaTax AI does not charge for sending or receiving SMS messages; any carrier fees are your responsibility.
6. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any SMS message from your Firm. After you send STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will not receive further SMS from that Firm via DynaTax AI.
- Turning off SMS notifications in your DynaTax AI account preferences.
- Contacting your Firm directly to request removal.
Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of in-app notifications, email, or your Firm’s services. To re-subscribe, reply START to a previous SMS or re-enable SMS in your account preferences.
7. Getting Help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any SMS message to receive contact information for support. You can also reach us at support@dynatax.ai or via the in-app help center.
8. Privacy
Phone numbers collected for the SMS program are used solely to deliver messages from the Firm you have engaged. DynaTax AI does not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share limited message-delivery metadata with our SMS infrastructure provider for the purpose of message transmission, fraud prevention, and carrier deliverability. 9. Supported Carriers
DynaTax AI’s SMS program is available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, and other Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide. By opting in, you confirm you meet these requirements.
11. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date above when we do. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
